Meet the artist
My artistic journey took an unexpected turn during the challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking for a way to infuse some creativity into our lives, my boyfriend and I decided to embark on a date night pottery class. Little did I know that this seemingly ordinary decision would become the catalyst for a lifelong passion and a dream realized.
My love for pottery sprouted from that very date night, and it has since blossomed into a dream job turned reality. With each piece I create, I aim to capture the beauty, wonder, and intricate details of the natural world that has always held my heart.
As a child, I was the feral one, always to be found in the woods, catching animals and captivated by botany and mushrooms. My fascination with the world of nature and its creatures never left me as I grew older; it merely grew stronger. My passion for hiking led me to discover the astonishing variety of mushrooms that nature has to offer, and I soon became obsessed with mushroom hunting.
For me, hiking wasn't solely about summiting peaks; it was about embarking on the ultimate scavenger hunt for these fascinating fungi. It was during this time that I realized my calling as an artist. The first thing I lovingly sculpted onto a humble mug were mushrooms, and from that moment on, the rest became history.
In every piece I create, you'll find a piece of my heart and a profound connection to the world around us. Nature is my muse, and I hope that through my art, I can share a glimpse of the magic, beauty, and wonder that I have found in the wilderness and in the delicate details of mushrooms. Welcome to my world, where the forest's secrets are unveiled in clay and glaze, and where art and nature unite to tell a story unlike any other.

"Oh my God, Haley….the mug is even more stunning in person. Mijo and I couldn’t stop looking at it last night and it was so hard to hide it away!!
