Where My Creativity Began.
Growing up, I was surrounded by the magic of my mother’s artistic talents and her deep love for the natural world. She was always creating something, painting murals on the walls of our family home, transforming furniture with a fresh coat of paint, or exploring countless mediums like graphite, oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolor, and colored pencil. Her creativity wasn’t limited to art; it extended into every aspect of life, making the ordinary extraordinary.
Her love for nature was one of her greatest gifts to me. I’ll never forget the day we went swimming in a river near our house, surrounded by mushrooms of every shape and color. We gathered as many as we could, marveling at their forms, and brought them home to plant in the garden. Though they quickly decomposed, just as my mother said they would, the image of that magical mushroom forest stayed with me.
We spent countless hours building fairy houses and toad homes with materials gathered from the forest floor, letting our imaginations run wild. My mother always encouraged my creative ideas, no matter how big or small.
Her passion for art and life wasn’t confined to just a canvas; it was everywhere she went. Her encouragement and belief in the power of practice shaped my artistic journey and instilled in me a deep love for bringing ideas to life.
To this day, her talent and her guidance continues to nurture me, and I’m honored to share a little bit of her world with you.
About my Mother
My mother’s talent knows no boundaries. She has an incredible ability to capture the essence of the world around her, whether it’s through portraits, animals, serene landscapes, or delicate flowers. Every piece becomes infused with a sense of love and admiration for the world around us.
Her art is a reflection of her joy. When she creates, she fully immerses herself in the process, finding both tranquility and excitement in bringing her ideas to life. From the precision of realism to the freedom of abstract expression and everything in between her range as an artist is truly remarkable.
Every piece she creates feels alive, filled with her unique perspective and passion. It is a mere glimpse into the artistry that has inspired me throughout my life.
